Half of the battle has to be even just realizing you’re having anxiety, I think.. so kudos. And I agree with your husband… I think you’re a rockstar and things are just a little off their normal balance now.. But, soon enough it will all reach equilibrium.

Things as MOM can be overwhelming, crazy, maddening, delightful and joyful, all at the same time. Just take it day by day, and don’t feel you have to be or do anything-just live in the moments, enjoy the time, and slowly you’ll start to find things fall into place so you are more able to pursue doing “your stuff”.

Also, when you feel you could handle some work, I might have a job for you at Dakno, but you will probably want to wait until you are on a schedule to consistently fit in work-maybe a few more months when the little Sir sleeps through the night for you

I can understand, our worlds are not the same but the questions and the low phases are kind of ,in varying degrees albeit.It must be a very very different time for you now, this new person, the way he just changes your life and makes you re-think and look at people differently.It must be staggering and yet I think with your cool demeanor and your inherent goodness of heart,you have sailed through.

I think you are cool,that does not sum it up, but it is a quality I love about you.You can find your ground .

I just keep thinking about this post because GOD I get it. The transition into motherhood is so crazy. The feeling that you have it all and that everything is perfect, but that there is still this crazy something else to figure out about life and our purpose.
Ah, the pressure.
Ah, motherhood.

Hey, would you be up for a girl’s afternoon out next weekend? Bll will be back and can watch the boys, and we could go window shopping at the mall and drink coffee or something. I don’t know about you, but I remember hitting the wall of needing SPACE from my newborns and really loving just a few hours of being “me” withouth “them” again. Let me know if you think it might be a good plan. Hugs!!

Oh you said it so well. I KNOW exactly what you mean. Reclaiming the self after pregnancy – but the self no longer truly exists – or at least it must transform. Crazy stuff. Heavy stuff. Stuff that nobody ever talks about because it is SCARY!
