Miss Priss?

I’m a pretty outgoing person with a very strong personality.  I’ve been told I can be intimidating although that’s the last thing I would ever want to be.  I’ve also been told that my confidence is catching and it “feels good” to hang out with me.  Honestly, I put on a tough girl front but I’m actually a big softee and very empathetic, intuative, compassionate and sensitive.

I’m an Okie – born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  I moved to Raleigh, NC almost 5 years ago.   I always knew I would miss my friends and family in Oklahoma but I never, ever thought I’d miss Tulsa.  I do.

The title of my blog is a reflection of my girly and high maintenance personality.  Oh and it was one of my childhood nicknames.

I love people and enjoy trying to figure them out.

I cannot stand the sound of popping gum.  It makes me feel ill.

I am married to Alan.  We met online when we he was 14 and I was 15.  I lived in Tulsa and he lived in a Charlotte, NC suburb.  He IM’d me on AOL and 12 years later, here we are, married!

I have two cats:  Ginger and Saffron.  Ginger sings and Saffron loves people food.

I drive a VW Rabbit!

I’m passionate about music and listen to all types.

I have “issues” watching movies.  It’s hard to keep my mind on one thing for that long of a time.

I am afraid of balloons.
